ADAPTIVE DESIGN
Our systems are modular and have been designed to adapt to your needs; There is an endless range of possible variations in design that can be formulated to fit almost any project. Because of the intimate contact of our buildings with the surrounding terrain, climate and topography, each home or other type of construction (i.e. commercial) can be a unique design, taking into account all local variables and conditions to create the perfect design... we also have a growing number of prototypes you can use as is, all of which have started out as individual designs for clients.
ECOSPHERE
The Ecosphereā¢ is a lightweight but strong shell, made of composite materials, designed to be covered by earth and vegetation. An Ecosphere can be built above grade...
OASIS
Over 300 million people live in the worlds deserts and semi-deserts, where a vegetated system like the Ecosphere would be very difficult to build and expensive to mantain...
DESIGN
Our adaptable systems are designed with sustainability and modern comfort in mind, offering a versatile solution that can be customized to meet your unique needs.

TECHNOLOGY
BIOTEKT system panels use Biocompositeā¢, a proprietary material with strong fiber reinforcement and recycled PET plastics. The panel shapes, forming arches and barrel vaults, distribute stresses effectively. Earth berms on sides and earth on roof create a protective shield that enhances stability, utilizing evolved earth construction methods. Both ECOSPHERE and OASIS employ mostly locally available materials. Both systems allow easy integration of ducts and channels for utilities.
WHY BIOTEKT?
The Green living oldest building methods rely on earth as a primary material. Adobe, cob, rammed earth, and earth-sheltered construction are gaining popularity as eco-friendly alternatives. The concept of incorporating living earth and plants, leveraging thermal stability, is intriguing. However, traditional methods posed challenges like ventilation and waterproofing. The BIOTEKT system innovatively combines ancient earth-building techniques with modern composite materials, solving these issues.
